While a B2C marketing strategy focuses on a single consumer (a person), a B2B content marketing strategy often requires marketing to one or more people within a business before the final decision-makers are involved.

Here’s an example. A lawn care service provides lawn care for homeowners. That’s B2C. Another lawn care service provides lawn care to commercial properties such as apartment complexes. That’s B2B.

E-A-T in stands for Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness. E-A-T is something we care about in the SEO world because it can affect rankings.

This concept is discussed in great detail in Google’s Quality Raters’ Guidelines. Demonstrating good E-A-T both on and off your website can potentially help improve Google rankings.
